Pampers Pure Protection Review
With the first baby, she kept getting rashes with the normal pampers and huggies. Switching the the Pampers sensitive appeared to have help. On the second baby, she still got random rashes but less frequent than first baby. Switched to the Pure, and the rashes was rare. With the third baby, using the Pure was a no brainer and it’s confirmed maybe one rash in over a year and that might be related to food...

Absorbency: this can hold a ton of liquid for sure and several sessions and the thing can weigh like a brick! Maybe if ignoring too long it will overflow, but that’s a personal issue (Bad parent)!

Sensitive Skin: you are more likely to get a rash if you do not change the diapers, lol. But even with neglect, as most parents experience specially at night, the Pure brand has really helped with rashes. We don’t even dry it at all after we wipe and no issues.

Pampers Baby Dry Review
We generally use Huggies diapers because when my LO was younger she couldn’t wear Pampers (due to rashes) but we tried again now that she is in a size 6 (right before potty training goes into full effect) and low and behold she’s no longer allergic!

The difference between these and Huggies Snug n’ Dry are that the tabs don’t rip off the diaper and they seem to hold much better over night, the 3 channels really soak up everything and when you touch the diaper when it’s full it does not feel very wet. Also our diaper pail smells a LOT better. These diapers seem to contain the #2 smell, wile other diapers wrapped up tight just smell yuck! We will definitely be using PAMPERS till we’re out of diapers for sure!!!

Pampers Cruisers 360 Reviews
We LOVE these diapers. My little guy is huge (greater than 99%). He has chunky thighs and a belly. The tape sided diapers (all brands) were rubbing & chaffing him so bad. Then he discovered how to rip the tape off and get the diaper off! So at 13 months we switched him to these. We’ve been using them for almost 4 months and LOVE them. He can’t get them off! When he poo’s I just rope the sides and it comes off like a normal diaper. These babies hold a TON of liquid too. He never has leaks.

Pampers Swaddlers Overnight Reviews
I almost didn’t buy these based on reviews saying they are the same as regular pampers BUT as a scientist I remembered that the thing that creates the absorbency is in between the cloth layers. It sucks up the liquid which is why a wet diaper bulges and is so heavy.

So I decided to try these and they are AMAZING! We use pampers swaddles during the day and he was peeing through them (well more they reached full capacity so his pee would sneak out the top since he sleeps on his stomach now)...he has not had a single leak with these! I know we are only 4 days in but that tells me they are without a doubt more absorbent than the regular ones. So Pampers is not trying to be sneaky and rebrand its normal diapers as overnight. I’m so glad I bought these and I highly recommend!!

Comparison of Pampers Diapers

1. Pampers Cruisers Vs Swaddlers Vs Baby Dry

a. Texture
Pampers Swaddlers are the softest out of the three, these diapers are designed with newborn and premature babies in mind.

b. Absorbency
Pampers Cruisers and Pampers Swaddlers have two layers of absorbency. Pampers Baby Dry diapers has three, making it the most absorbent out of the three.

c. Odor Protection
Cruisers and Swaddlers have a special baby-friendly aroma that helps keep bad odor. Baby Dry does not have this aroma. Swaddlers has a slight baby powder odor that some parents dislike.

d. Leak Guard Protection
Pampers Cruisers come with Dual Leak-Guard Barriers that gently seal around the legs and bottom to stop leaks where they happen most. It also features lock-away channels that absorb wetness and keep moisture away from the skin.

The legs of Baby Dry diapers are smooth and flexible. As a result, they fit on your baby's legs perfectly, which prevents leaking.

2. Pampers Baby Dry Vs Pure Protection

a. Absorbency
While all three diapers provide 12-hour protection, they do so in various ways due to the absorption technology they use. Pampers Baby Dry has three layers of absorbency, while Pampers Pure has Absorb Away Liners.

b. Fragrance
Pampers Pure diapers are fragrance-free. Baby Dry is scented, with a note that the brand claims that they use a non-allergenic and non-irritating fragrance in low levels.

c. Design
Pampers Baby Dry diapers are Sesame Street themed. Pampers Pure, on the other hand, is unquestionably the winner in terms of design! Each pack contains a choice of prints that vary depending on the size you purchase.

3. Pampers Baby-Dry Vs Pampers Swaddlers Overnight

Both are great for nighttime protection.
Both have a wetness indicator and provides protection for up to 12 hours.

Pampers Swaddlers Overnights is only available from sizes 3 through 6, whilst Baby Dry is available from newborn to size 6.

Pampers Swaddlers Overnights appear to be a little more expensive than Baby Dry, which isn’t odd given that they’re just as effective as Baby Dry but are softer.

FAQ

1. Diapers Guide 101

2. How to Buy Baby Diapers

Most newborns gain about 3 pounds during the first month and babies born with a higher birth weight tend to skip this diaper size altogether. Therefore, there’s no point stockpiling on size NB.

You can always start small. Try stockpiling no larger than size 1, just in case you don’t like the first brand you try.

Once you get a feel for fit, cost, brand, and size, go ahead and purchase more — up to an entire year’s worth or more of diapers. Keep in mind your own baby’s weight and rate of gain when planning. Never pay full price for diapers unless it’s an emergency (more on saving on diapers below).

Keep in mind that different brands may work better or worse for different babies, so be open to trying a few different diapers before you decide on the right ones for you. Sometimes a diaper that costs a little more is a better fit and works better, making it worth the extra money.

3. How Often Should You Change Your Baby's Diaper?

Change your newborn’s diaper every two to three hours, or as needed, according to experts. Because if the diaper isn’t changed frequently, the baby is at risk of developing skin rashes, infections, and a variety of other health problems.

4. Things to Consider When Picking Your Baby's Diaper

a) Pick Trustable Brands
Make sure you pink a trustable brand.

b) Diaper Features
Make sure your diapers have features that are suitable for your condition. For example; Good Absorbency, Wetness Indicator Lines, Soft and Breathable, Stretchability and Fit.

c) Pick the right size

Avoid loading up on one size because your baby will require bigger-sized diapers every few months.

d) Skin Sensitivity

If your baby has sensitive skin like having rash because of diapers. You must look for hypoallergenic diapers. For example: Huggies Little Snugglers

5. Benefits of Disposable Baby Diapers

Disposable diapers are light, compact, absorbent, leak-proof, and simple to use nowadays. Because of the softness, lightness, and ‘breathability’ of the fabrics used, newborns and toddlers find it comfortable to wear. Keep the skin drier and healthier as a result.

6. When does a child usually stop using diapers?

Between the ages of 18 and 30 months, most children will have completed toilet training and will be ready to stop using diapers, however, this is not the case for all children. In some cases, kids still wear diapers until they are four years old.

7. Diaper Rash

a. What is diaper rash?
Diaper rash is a common type of inflamed skin (dermatitis) that appears on your baby’s bottom as a patchwork of bright red skin. Wet or infrequently changed diapers, skin sensitivity, and chafing are all common causes of diaper rash.

b. Causes of diaper rash
Diaper rash can be caused by a variety of factors. Diaper rash can occur when a new food is introduced into your child’s diet. It could also be the result of a new laundry detergent or bath product.

Diaper rash can also occur when a child’s diaper is not changed frequently enough or caused by antibiotics your child is taking. Additionally, diapers or wipes that aren’t compatible with your child’s skin may be the reason of their diaper rash.

c. What to know about diaper rash
Diaper rash is frequently caused by a skin irritation caused by too much moisture in the diaper. The best way to solve this problem is to keep your baby’s bottom dry.

For heavy wetter, do not change diapers too soon because if your baby sitting in a lot of moisture for long periods that can cause rashes.

It is also critical to avoid using any petroleum-based products on your baby’s sensitive skin because they cause too many dry spots, which can worsen the condition or cause more frequent flare-ups. Vaseline, Icy Hot, and Aquafor are examples of such products.

d. How to treat diaper rash

Know the cause. If the cause is a lack of hygiene, you should change your child’s diaper on a regular basis, making sure to thoroughly clean the baby’s bottom with a wipe or wet washcloth after each change. Then, apply a thin layer of diaper rash ointment to your baby’s bum to keep moisture at bay.

If your baby’s skin is really sensitive, it is best to use a diaper designed for sensitive skin. Change your child’s diaper frequently to avoid diaper rash in the future — moisture trapped on your child’s skin for an extended period of time can be quite harmful.

If it is due to a yeast infection. This will take a week or two of daily application of anti-fungal cream. Always make sure that your baby’s bottom is dry and clean while you’re treating them.

e. How to choose the best diapers for diaper rash

i. Size

Never pay full price for diapers unless it’s an emergency

ii. Price
Expensive diapers are not always suitable for your baby. But do not use cheaper diapers if it is not suitable for your baby’s skin because if your baby’s skin got rashes and infection, you will spend more money for the treatment.

iii. Features
If your baby’s skin is sensitive, make sure that the diapers you chose is hypoallergenic or for sensitive skin.

And if your baby has eczema, make sure the diapers you chose are fragrance-free and do not contain any harsh ingredients because they may aggravate the symptoms.

8. Why are parabens bad in diapers?

There are side effects to parabens, which can enter the body through the skin or ingested by way of food. Since it only takes 26 seconds for a chemical to be absorbed through the skin, and enter the bloodstream, it doesn’t take long for parabens to enter the body. Parabens are absorbed in the digestive system as well.

Parabens are known to cause the following health concerns..

- Endocrine Disruption: Parabens mimic estrogen in the body, potentially causing hormonal imbalance.

- Cancer: Parabens mixed with other estrogenic chemicals can cause malignant melanoma to develop. A study also found a link betweenbreast cancer tumors and parabens putting even young babies at risk from an early age.

- Developmental and Reproductive Toxicity: Parabens tend to cause lower sperm production causing androgen disruption. It also causes hormonal imbalance in females because of its estrogenic effects in the body. Too much estrogen can cause fertility issues later on in life because it disrupts ovulation.

- Genotoxic: Exposure to parabens for pregnant women can affect fetal organs because of genotoxicity where parabens directly affect the DNA and chromosome cells in an unborn fetus.
